I am a 2001 graduate of Stevensville High School in Stevensville Montana.
I graduated from Texas A & M University in Texarkana in the winter of 2007.
I have a Bachelors in General Studies with an emphasis in English.
I recieved my Texas Teacher’s Certification in 2009 through I Teach Texas alternative teaching certifcation program.
I am certified EC-6, 6-12 Technology Education and working towards my certification in Family and Consumer Science.
This is my first year to be a Brahma and my first year in FACS! I am super excited to be on campus and a part of this wonderful family!
I began my teaching career as a Bear in DeKalb for 5 years at the Elementary in Fine Arts and Gifted and Talente and I also spent 2 years at DMS in Technology and as the cheer coach.
I then moved to New Boston to be a Lion for 5 years, back to Elementary Fine Arts and Gifted and Talented where I also coached Desination Imagination.
I have been married to my husband, Brandon, for 19 years and we have 3 children. Ethan is our oldest and he will be leaving for Arkansas Tech University this Fall. Gillian is our daughter who is 14 and Case is our baby and is also a Brahma this year in PreK-4!
We live on a small farm outside of New Boston and have horses, cows, dogs, mini donkeys and one chicken who is a lone survivor of the dogs...
I love photography! I don’t have a lot of spare time, but when I do, I enjoy taking pictures as my side-hustle!
I also really enjoy cooking and baking. Food is instant gradification. There is such joy in watching people enjoying what I have prepared!
