I have been teaching here at Pewitt since 2015; prior to that I taught for Channelview ISD, Pasadena ISD, Austin ISD, amd Miwaukee Public Schools.
This 2018-2019, I will be teaching English II, English IIH, English III, and Practical Writing.
After undergraduate school in 1975, I began working on my Master’s Degree, and started teaching in 1977 in Wisconsin.
After moving to Austin in 1978, I became an Assistant Editor for The University of Texas’ Applied Research Laboratory where we primarily did Department of Defense funded scientific research projects and publications for scientific journals.
I am married to Tim Weir, and I have one son, Doug, who is 31 years old. My husband and I show our dog, Maggie Mae Something Royal, in various dog shows in the conformation category (like you see on the Westminister Dog Show).
I am an avid gardener and garden designer. I also was an interior designer, and still love making things beautiful and functional.
